I opened my garden on the Ides of March. Started my seeds yesterday. Ben hung up the birdhouses today. The roses are pruned and the tulips have sprouted. I have a couple of weeks before I can do heavier work out there—all I can do is observe where things are coming up and make my plans. Meantime, revising the three books I'm working on. I started class with an illustration mentor this week, and rediscovered the joy of bringing my work to the local cafe and sitting among people again.
